HexCam was built to identify colors using your iPhone's camera. We take your privacy seriously: the app runs entirely on your device, and we have no access to your images, the colors you save, or any personal information.

1. Information We Collect

None. HexCam does not collect, transmit, or share personal data. We require no sign-up, login, or account, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.

2. Camera Use

The camera serves a single purpose: reading, in real time, the color at the center of the screen and showing its values (HEX, RGB, and HSL). The video feed is processed live on your device and is never recorded or sent to any server.

When you choose to save a color, HexCam stores a small reference photo of that moment only on your device, linked to the saved color. You can delete it whenever you like.

3. Data Storage

Everything you create in HexCam — saved colors, notes, tags, and reference photos — stays exclusively on your device, using Apple's native technologies:

• SwiftData: the iOS local database for colors and their details
• External Storage: protected storage for reference photos

HexCam has no servers of its own and does not sync to the cloud. Uninstalling the app removes all of your data from the device.

4. In-App Purchases

HexCam offers HexCam Pro through in-app purchases (weekly, annual, and lifetime). These transactions are handled entirely by Apple via your Apple ID. We neither receive nor store payment details, card numbers, or financial information.

5. Location

HexCam does not use or request access to your location.

6. Third-Party Services

HexCam does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party networks. The app is built solely with Apple's native frameworks, running locally:

• AVFoundation: camera access for color sampling
• StoreKit: purchase management (operated by Apple)

7. Security

Your data is protected by the iOS sandbox and the system's native encryption at rest. Because nothing travels over the network, there is no transmitted information to intercept.

8. Device Permissions

HexCam requests a single permission:

• Camera: essential to identify the color in front of you. It can be revoked at any time in Settings > HexCam.

9. Your Rights

You have full control over what you create in the app. At any time, you can:

• Edit or delete colors, notes, tags, and photos individually
• Permanently remove all data by uninstalling the app
• Revoke the camera permission in iOS Settings

10. Children

HexCam is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or applicable law. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates.
