Delete my account

This page describes how to delete your account in the GestaPlena app (com.gestaplena.app), developed by DevSkin, and the associated data.
1. Deletion from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the GestaPlena app on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab (bottom right corner).
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap "Delete my account".
- Confirm by tapping "Delete everything" in the alert.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Data cannot be recovered afterwards.
2. What is deleted
- User name, last menstrual period (LMP) date and baby name/sex
- All diary entries (mood, symptoms and notes)
- Checklist progress and saved exams
- Link to your Apple or Google account (if social sign-in was used)
- All local data stored on the device
3. What is retained (and for how long)
- Baby-name-meaning lookup results are cached on our backend for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted. These results are generic (not tied to your user).
- No personal data is retained on servers after deletion.
4. Manual request
If you can't use the "Delete my account" button — for example, technical issue or loss of device access — email us with:
- Subject: "Account deletion request — GestaPlena"
- The email address linked to your Apple or Google sign-in
Requests are processed within 30 days.
