Why is my speed different from my plan?

Your plan speed is a maximum. The real result depends on Wi-Fi, distance from the router, the number of connected devices and the time of day. For a fairer test, stay near the router and close other apps.

Does the test use data?

Yes. The test transfers real data to measure speed. On cellular this uses your data allowance. Prefer Wi-Fi for frequent tests.

What are ping and jitter?

Ping is the network response time (lower is better), important for gaming and calls. Jitter is the variation of that time between measurements — low values indicate a more stable connection.

How do I compare Wi-Fi and cellular?

Run tests on each network type. In the History tab, open "Compare Wi-Fi vs Cellular" to see the averages side by side.

Where is my data stored?

All history stays only on your device. Nothing is sent to us. Deleting the app removes the data.
