SleepRing is a sleep tracking app for Apple Watch. This Policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
1. Summary
SleepRing collects no data. All data is read from the Health app and processed exclusively on your device. Nothing is sent to servers; there is no account, login, ads or tracking.
2. Data the App Reads (read-only)
- Sleep analysis: recorded by your Apple Watch in the Health app (stages, times).
- Heart rate, HRV, SpO2 and respiratory rate: measured overnight by the Watch.
SleepRing does not write any data to the Health app.
3. Storage
App preferences (sleep goal, reminder) are stored locally on your iPhone. Health data stays in the Health app, under Apple's and your control. Uninstalling the app does not affect your health data.
4. Permissions
Health access is optional and controlled by you. You can revoke it anytime in Health > Profile > Apps > SleepRing. The bedtime reminder uses local notifications (optional).
5. Third-Party Services
None. The app uses no analytics, advertising or cloud services.
6. Important Notice
SleepRing is for informational and wellness purposes. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional evaluation. If you have sleep disorders, see a doctor.
7. Children
SleepRing is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated periodically. Relevant changes will be communicated through app updates.
