Mood is a customizable widget app for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Mood is designed with privacy as a priority. The app works 100% offline and only stores what is needed to function:

• Widget settings: colors, fonts, text, event dates and other options you create. Stored exclusively on your device.
• Photos: when you pick an image for a photo widget, it is copied to the app's shared container on your device so the widget can display it.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Render the widgets you create on the Home and Lock Screen
• Keep your saved widget list in sync between the app and the widget extension
• Show the live preview while editing

3. Data Storage

All your data is stored exclusively on your device using native Apple technologies:

• App Group / UserDefaults: widget settings shared between the app and the extension
• App container file system: images selected for photo widgets

Mood has no servers and does not sync data to the cloud. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all your data.

4. Data Sharing

Mood does not sell, rent, share or transmit any personal information to third parties. Since the app works fully offline, no data leaves your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Mood uses only native Apple frameworks, all running on the device:

• WidgetKit: widget rendering
• PhotosUI: picking images from your library

No analytics, advertising or tracking services are used.

6. Device Permissions

• Photo Library: only when you choose an image for a photo widget. Optional and revocable in Settings > Mood.

7. No Personal Data Collection

Mood does not collect personal data such as name, email, phone, location or device identifiers. No account, login or sign-up is required.

8. Children

Mood is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates.
